The Buddynetwork

Buddynetwork TU Wien is a student-run non-profit organisation whose primary goal is to promote social contacts among foreign and local students at Vienna University of Technology.

That's why we're offering to team every exchange student up with a local student - a personal Buddy. He/She'll be the one to assist the exchange student with his/her initial problems after arriving in Vienna. With the help of someone who lives and studies here, it is much easier for them to get accomodated to the city of Vienna, our university and the unique Austrian student life.

Besides assigning Buddies to exchange students, the Buddynetwork Team organizes a variety of events in which all exchange students and Buddies are welcome to participate: parties, hiking and skiing trips, weekend trips to Austrian and international cities, university and city guided tours, dancing courses, DVD evenings, etc... The Buddynetwork TU Wien is a member organization of ESN (ERASMUS Student Network) International and ESN Austria and works together with them to improve exchange students' experience in Austria. Every exchange student can get an ESN membership card for 5 EUR.
